Concept

I seem to have this ongoing mental wrestling match regarding whether I want to paint from life or from imagination. Of course the best answer is probably to do both. I feel like I learn and grow more when I'm painting from life. On the other hand, I can stretch my brain and imagination more when I do the conceptual stuff.

Yeah, your one of those guys that do both really well. I usually end up with a sprained brain ankle when I try and stretch my brain.

I like a lot the conceptual part, I think its enriched from your real life paintings, if this is not saying something too obvious
