Work Doodles

Done in ballpoint. These sketches are done mostly on breaks at work. Either while saving large files, or when my eyes just can't bear to look at the monitor any more.

Marco these are great - I love the sketchy quality to them. The linework gives the images a real sense of character! Fab!

Wonderful sketches... wonderful characters! I would love to see these full colored also, but not necessary as they are super just as they are.
I am trying to find a new monitor..do you like yours? What are it's pro's and con's? I too spend so much time staring at a monitor, I really need to find one that is good to work with.

The first image, of the girl, seems a bit convoluted and not as appealing as the other 2 sketched. I think you could have simplified the design and line economy and it would have been stronger. right now it doesn't feel feminine and the arm looks a off; i think from the multiple directional changes of the line just in that arm. It could have been simplified with even just "straights against curves". Part of less feminine qualities is the inherent qualities of ballpoint. but doing less work and simplifying the line and design would have made it more appealing.

Other than that, you pulled off the ball point nicely. Particularly the center image, that look great!
Keep postin' man. the life drawing were great too.

Awesome! This piece, Pink Book and your animals are the best.

The design in these pieces of work is spot on. Also the character and expression is very good.
