Exciting Commission

This established gentleman is Fernando Rego. He is a clothier with a very high-end store in the heart of Toronto's financial district. Thankfully, he liked the painting and it now hangs in his store! It's 27x40", oil on board.

Simply stunning, Marco. I love the brush work. I'm amazed at how your paintings can have such a loose feel, and yet the form and structure still remains tight.

Fernando's face in the photo is more cartoonish than the painted one, just look at his mouth.
Also, difference in shoulders posture, he is more energetic in the painting. Your painting seems enough flattering! I like it! :)

turned out great! I love that the client's expression in the photo is exactly like it is in the painting. Hahaa- I'd call that a successful likeness!
