I was on vacation last week and did a lot of plein air painting. I kidnapped my cousin and gave him a camera and told him to film one for YouTube. Figured this would be a good break from the digital vids.
made my morning , first thing i saw were these amazing meanderings , loved it , ur thoughts are so well articulated and instinctive , thanks for sharing such beautiful insights:)
Hi Marco, Thanks for posting this. Finally got around to watching this and I really liked it. It was like watching a free Richard Schmid mini course, you describe your thoughtprocess really well and it was a delight watching the painting come alive. Nice to see that you premix a set of colors. Did I see correctly that you use Artisan watermixable oilpaint? And you use liquin as a medium? What do you use for cleaning your brushes and thinning the paint? I like the Artisan paint but find it a bit stiff straight out of the tube.
