Speed Dump


Something I don't do enough of. These are just random, fast concept stuff (i.e. moving the brush around until something interesting comes out). Played around with a few palettes, but mostly was determined to control values.

Strange...yesterday I was inspired to paint a cook like you painted below almost exactly in the same pose haha...but I decided to create an animation on my ds.

Great pieces! “Moving the brush around till something comes out” is one of my favorite ways to work; it lets you focus on simple design while promoting new and inventive drawing solutions. Awesome plein airs; I got to get me one of those DS things!
