Trying Again

Having been painting exclusively from life for the past month, I already feel rough when doing stuff without reference. I constantly wanted to "look up" at something while painting this. But I do think some information that I gained recently from life found its way in here.

Hey Marco! Yes indeeed i always try to keep a balance beetween exageration and linework, i think the key is to keep simple strokes in sort of a design-feeling-attitude if you know what i mean. Have a nice day!

Great work Marco! I like that you work both from life and memory - 2 very different skills! This piece is really super! ps I would love to see some caricatures in oils, the oil portraits were really top notch.
