Cool!

So out of nowhere, I got an e-mail from Jens Anderson, the genious behind the 'Colors!' application. I've done tons of sketches using that app on my Nintendo DS, and he asked my permission to feature one of them in the new release! Of course, I was happy to oblige. Thanks Jens!

seeing that you have painted on both the iPhone and the DS, I got to ask: which do you like better?

Ohh, that's a loaded question. They both have a unique charm. Colors is excellent for just getting down and dirty and moving QUICKLY. It doesn't have a whole lot of bells & whistles to keep you occupied, so it's just a matter of slamming down correct values and colors. It brings a lot out of you in that sense, and I like that.
Autodesk Sketchbook Mobile for the iPhone is superior in the sense that it feels more like real painting. So if you want to use more natural brushes and achieve a more painterly effect, that's the way to go.
I say I like colors better.
But of course, the iPhone is the piece of technology I have with me 100% of the time, so these days I'm painting with Sketchbook Mobile.
