Caricature Speedpaintings

Another fun thing I like to do for practice. These are kept to about a half-hour maximum, and the goal is to quickly hammer down correct values, and obviously, keep a likenesss. These are probably my more successful ones. At the top are two characters from the Harry Potter films, and on the bottom are Hayao Miyazaki, and Amelie.

Best Time of Year

I love the fall. There's just something in the air. This image popped into my head so it had to come out! It's still September though, so even the witches aren't quite ready for trick-or-treaters yet.

Obligatory Life Drawing Post

I don't wanna fill up this blog with life drawings, so these kinds of posts will be rare, I promise. I tend to do a fair bit of life drawing though, either in the classroom with a model, or out in the field in my sketchbook. It's one of the most important and fun things I do to learn. It's also great to be able to draw with friends every week!
