I refer to plein air painting often in my video commentaries. Here are some of my studies. This is where I do 99% of my learning about light and colour. In my opinion, nature is the best teacher, and you don't get charged tuition either.

hey thanks guys! Justin - these are oil on masonite board. I do a double coat of smooth acrylic gesso to prime the board. Jason - YEAH man! I can't wait! I'll e-mail you.
