This is a colour key/concept rendering for a character in the short film. This started as a 3D model (which I did not do). I did a quick lighting pass in Maya, and then painted right over top of it in Photoshop.And yes, I am aware that Pixar did a monster with blue fur as well. The similarity ends there, I assure you.
