I have a weird relationship with this thing. I will go months without using it, then I find myself not being able to put it down for a few weeks. Right now I am in the latter mode. Update: You can view playbacks of some of these paintings here.
yay! i love these. I started doing a lot of these lately too, while not as awesome as yours..still learning the ropes. I will post them on my blog soon time.
more, MORE! is there a way you can post the recordings that Colours makes of these while you paint them? hmm...i hear there's a program called ColorsDraw that extracts the movie files into AVI or MOV or something.
Hey Andrew - Check out the Colors! gallery. There's tons of paintings on there, and most of them have the playbacks. My personal page on that gallery is at: http://colors.collectingsmiles.com/author.php?page=1&id=786
As always, great stuff. I go through the same waves of using my DS and not. I find that when you can't paint something that instantly holds up really well you get frustrated and it kinda becomes a chore. I think the smaller screen amplifies this.

I recently got an iphone and promptly purchased colors! for it. It's different and much less intuitive but I will say that because the screen has much higher resolution it's easier. Color choices feel much more like photoshop and there's less of that color/opacity error thingy going on. I'm still on the fence though as I don't like painting with my finger but I'm buying a pogo stylus soon and we'll see how we go from there.
Beautiful as always Marco. Don't you find it a little hard to see the screen that thing though?! Maybe that's why you use it sporatically. Your eyes are fighting with you!hahaha
Very Nice.
ReplyDeleteawesome stuff! i've got one myself - and my relationship is quite similar :) Time to pick it up again! thx for inspirering!
ReplyDeleteWow, so cool man!
